“Romantic Images of Wade Lagoon” is a collection of infrared black and white photographs that features images I’ve created spanning my career as a photographer.
Since my early days as a photographer, I was always attracted to the beauty, art and architecture of Wade Lagoon of University Circle in Cleveland Ohio. This collection mainly focuses on the landscapes, architecture and sculptures of The Fine Arts Garden at the Cleveland Museum of Art and expands into the beautiful surrounding area. The land was donated by industrialist Jeptha Homer Wade II. Landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted’s Firm, was commissioned to design the Fine Arts Garden. Olmsted’s firm is also credited with designing New York City’s Central Park. Wade Lagoon is a major tourist destination in Cleveland, quite possibly the most unique space Cleveland has to offer.
